Eco C-R-E-A-M stands for Eco Community-Responsibility-Environment-Awareness-Management, and some of the key components are:
- Community Responsibility – Recruiting and training staff from the locality, purchasing locally produced goods and services, supporting community tourism initiatives, contributing financially to uplift the standards of the locality, etc.
- Wildlife and the Environment – Protecting endangered species, actively educating communities and campaigning against animal abuse of all forms, engaging in development projects such as environment education, wildlife conservation and reforestation, discouraging the collection, removal or cutting of any plant or plant parts (seeds, roots or leaves) by our customers, staff and communities, etc.
- Waste Management – Actively pursuing our plastic-free philosophy, converting all organic waste into compost waste, recycling all paper, cardboard, aluminium and metal waste, etc.
- Energy – Recycling coconut shells for BBQ’s and campfires, using only fallen branches or trees for campfires, using LPG gas for hot water, and solar energy for all other requirements, etc.
