W15 is only 15 minutes from Kandy’s city centre. This heritage home evokes a bygone period, tastefully restored in 2015, to satisfy the most discerning traveler’s whims and fantasies. The owners aspire to give you the best of hospitality, adventure, comfort and attention to your every requirement. On the picturesque hills, often cloaked in mist, W15 is a cosy place for you to stay over.

We love W15 Hanthana Estate because this bungalow has a certain colonial elegance and offers first-rate service. It is created to have the ideal ambiance in harmony with the mystic mountains and the cold winds. Vintage Land Rovers ready to take you for a ride, are a lovely touch.

We love the attention to eco-consciousness: using glass water bottles and eco-friendly straws, W15 has its own spice garden that caters to all its culinary needs. The rooms are glamorous and with plush wooden interiors, are to pine for!

Accommodation is split into 3 exclusive categories: Master Bungalow Suite, Bungalow Suites and Stable Suites. They are unique in character and wait to be discovered and enjoyed by guests. W15 Hanthana Estate Kandy offers some units with a balcony. A sprawling private garden, spacious living areas…it will truly feel like your holiday home.

All rooms at the hotel come with air conditioning, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, safety deposit box, and a private bathroom with a bidet, bathrobes and slippers.

The pool of W15 Hanthana Estate is perfect for a refreshing dip on a sunny day. Set amidst the sprawling garden with the mountains in the backdrop, it's the perfect way to unwind. If you fancy a game of croquet, then do make use of their immaculately maintained lawn.

They have a stunning library filled with an enviable selection of books. You can lose yourself in there with a mug of hot chocolate! Their lovely mahogany piano awaits to be played and is tucked away in a quiet corner of our inviting sitting spaces.

Gastronomy

They think that a good morning comes after a good meal. Enjoy a hearty English breakfast or a traditional Sri Lankan one with string hoppers (delicate fairy-like cakes of steamed rice flour noodles), flavoursome fish curry, spicy coconut sambol, and mellow potato gravy. Indulge in an individual breadbasket with handcrafted specialty jams under your own cloche.

Meals are a very personalised experience, featuring both Western and Sri Lankan cuisine on the menu. You may like to request for a Dine by Design evening or a Great British Picnic at a choice location. Or why not a High Tea experience?
