The famous UNESCO World Heritage Site Galle is 1 hour drive from the property.

Activities, excursions and sightseeings arranged from the hotel include Whale and Dolphin watching (November to April), Coconut tree hill, Parrot rock, Snorkelling in Polhena, Galle Fort tour, Hadunugoda low country tea plantation, Mulkirigala rock temple and many more. You can also have fun learning to cook Sri Lankan rice and curry at a cooking class offered by the hotel.

Gastronomy

The dining room's main table gives direct views of the ocean, and the smaller tables are surrounded by sweeping glass doors. Meals can also be served at an outside table by the pool with a view of the ocean for a picturesque al fresco setting.

Ubuntu provides a variety of dishes blended with Sri Lankan flavours and created with very fresh local ingredients. Their eggs benny or Sri Lankan morning adventure with a selection of traditional breakfast dishes are must-try breakfast alternatives!
