Tintagel Colombo
Tintagel is a stately 1930s heritage building, once home to the Bandaranaike family which gave Sri Lanka 2 prime ministers and a president, notably the world’s first female prime minister Sirima Bandaranaike.
The residence has also hosted celebrities and nobility such as King Charles III. Today, it’s a trendy hotel located down Rosmead Place in Colombo.
Taken over by its new proprietor in 2005, Tintagel saw a make-over to create what it is today. It is impeccably designed and is one of Colombo’s most stylish and chic boutique hotels with contemporary interiors featuring high ceilings, timber floors and lavish décor incorporating a unique blend of colours. Tintagel features a swimming pool, spa and garden space to relax in. Free Wi-Fi and free parking for guests.
