The eco-friendly Ayurvie Weligama is tucked away on a magnificent stretch of coastline just a 2 minute walk to the beach and 12 minutes from Acid Beach. Ayurvie Weligama is only a short stroll from the well-known Weligama Bay. The resort offers wide open, dreamy white rooms with a view of the ocean; unexpected bursts of vivid colour and mandala patterns; and a sizable pavilion for yoga and meditation, among other features.

Comfort

'Ayurvie' comprises 22 deluxe rooms, 2 junior suites & 2 master suites. According to the body constitution of Vata, Pitta & Kapha, guests have the luxury of selecting their room according to the colour preference. Wifi is not available in rooms, rather available in the lobby and restaurant area only.

Each room has a spacious balcony unveiling the ethereal beauty of the ocean. Traditional and authentic Ayurvedic concepts and Vastu Vidya (Vedic Architecture) methods are incorporated to enhance the therapeutic effects on the body constitutions and the dosa conditions of the guest.

Experiences

"Anitya" - A spacious pavilion for yoga with meditation mandapa on the top floor overlooking the glittering Indian ocean. Float adrift in the calmness and find inner peace in this tranquil haven.

"Arogya" - Individual hand-crafted treatment rooms to bask in refreshing and exquisite Ayurveda spa treatments. The spa treatments are recommended and executed by a team of professionals to relieve you of any stress or discomfort, leaving bliss and happiness in your body, mind & soul. Later during low tide, you can wade towards the delightful little Taprobane Island.

Gastronomy

"Aahara" - Offers a diet of pure vegetarian and organic origin. The diet will be recommended by the house doctor according to individual diagnosis and body constitutions. Most vegetables are home grown according to organic methods.

"Arishta" An exquisite bar offers fresh herbal and exotic fresh fruit beverages. Artificial refreshments like Coke, Ginger beer, etc. will not be entertained, the emphasis being on a different kind of lifestyle, leading to holistic wellness.
