We will start the climb before sunrise with our guide, carrying battery-powered torches as the path is not illuminated. The moderately challenging 1270-step climb to Pidurangala requires a gutsy spirit and patience as you make the ascent. On reaching the summit, the view of Sigiriya Rock and sunrise will be jaw-dropping. On the other hand, the top of Sigiriya Rock is the perfect location to witness the sunset.
