Heritance Kandalama

The eighth wonder of the world, the rock stronghold of Sigiriya, is seen from where Heritance Kandalama is situated. The hotel is located close to five UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle.

Heritance Kandalama has a shape resembling a bird’s spread wings and traces the contour of the cliff from which it appears to emerge. Even though the hotel is a staggering 1 kilometer long and has seven levels, it looks like a completely natural extension of the slope. A screen of flora that draws nearby wildlife is supported by the structure’s flat roof and wooden pillars.
