The 30 spacious freestanding suites each have a private pool and a 180-degree view of the sea. Amanwella offers accommodation in Premium Ocean Pool Suite, Ocean Pool Suite, Ocean Hill Pool Suite and Garden Pool Suite.

With floor to ceiling sliding glass doors on both sides, Amanwella's Suites are open to the sights and sounds of Sri Lanka's breathtaking south coast and look out over a curving beach, turquoise ocean, and coconut grove.

Join your private yoga instructor as soon as the sun rises on the beach or in a tranquil glade.

Enjoy a traditional Ayurvedic therapy using warm oil, such as the renowned Abhyanga massage, which helps the body and mind regenerate while removing toxins.

Learn the traditional handline style of fishing with Wasantha and his pal Asiri around 6 a.m. while the sun is gilding the ocean. (There are also modern rods available.) You'll travel 3 kilometers offshore and spend two to three hours fishing.

Amanwella's floating lounge is the perfect place to enjoy canapés at sunrise or sunset while cruising the calm waters of Mawella Lagoon.

Gastronomy

The Restaurant offers views of the palm-lined bay and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The extensive menu places a strong emphasis on fresh seafood and features specialties from the Mediterranean, Asian, and Sri Lankan cuisines.

The Beach Club's cuisine offers Asian salads, Mediterranean classics, grilled fish with regional relishes, and homemade ice creams. It is available for informal lunches, romantic private dinners, and beach BBQs.

This Lounge Bar, which is open daily from 10 am to 11 pm for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and beverages, shares a patio with the restaurant and boasts the same expansive views of the pool and beach.
