Yala
Wild Coast Tented Lodge
Wild Coast Tented Lodge is just next to the Yala National Park, which is noted for having the world’s largest concentration of South Asian leopards.
With a view of the Indian Ocean’s azure waves, this stylish luxury tented camp is set where the jungle meets a pristine beach.
A group of Dutch, English, and Sri Lankan designers came up with the original design for the property, which uses carefully chosen natural materials to make man-made structures that effortlessly integrate into the terrain. Each of the twenty-eight cocoon tents may mimic the shape and colour of the local rocks and boulders thanks to arched fabric frameworks, and a creative pattern in the form of a leopard’s paw print, references to the region’s most famous inhabitant.
