Ishq Talpe is situated along Galle’s “French Riviera,” which is known for its gorgeous beaches, rock pools, wonderful wildlife, rich heritage, and culture.

Ishq Talpe is a family-owned, casual, and custom luxury home located in a stunning setting on Talpe’s uninhabited coastline. The name of the villa is derived from the Arabic term meaning passion and love.

The construction of this lovely five-bedroom villa, which was originally a component of the island’s first luxury villas, began in the 1990s. Today’s villa combines a love of simple, oceanic style with all the conveniences of a boutique hotel with the privacy of a private residence.

Why do we love Ishq Thalpe?

We do love Ishq Talpe because it is such a perfect place to spend time with family and friends. The pool which is at the center of the Villa is really mesmerizing.

The staff here are attentive, respectful and friendly. The attention to detail is clear, and everything is well thought off in terms of layout and facilities. The food here is out of the world. Especially the jumbo prawns and king sized crabs which are a must try here.

The view is breathtaking as the sun sets making the sky glow with fishing boats in the background, a cocktail in hand, watching the sweet serenade of waves eagerly rushing to the shore.

Comfort

Ishq Talpe Villa offers accommodations in the Master Suite, Ocean Suite, Garden Double Suite, Garden Family Suite and Garden Triple Suite.

Five spacious suites make up this boutique villa, your home in the south, and they all perfectly mix in with the tropical feelings of the southern coast. The five suites, which can be reserved as a whole villa, include a king-sized bed, a private garden terrace, and en-suite double indoor and outdoor rainwater showers.

Ishq Talpe villas’ largest suite, the Master Suite, is on the first level and takes up the entire width of the building.

Experiences

Ishq Talpe has been designed for relaxing in ultimate comfort. The property has luxurious hotel-style amenities, including a sizable central swimming pool with an ocean outlook.

When the heat of the day becomes intolerable, retire to the cool, glass-walled air-conditioned sitting room to watch a movie or curl up with a book. The pool is surrounded by a long veranda where you may relax and eat.

The villa's garden, which has sun loungers and a hammock, descends to a sandy beach where there is occasionally swimming available.

Gastronomy

Chefs at Ish Talpe provide guests with wholesome meals while they relax by the pool or in the garden's shade of swaying palms. While additional meals can be chosen from our a la carte menus, a daily breakfast is included.

You'll find lots of fresh fish and shellfish on the menu in addition to a variety of western and Sri Lankan meals given the villa's oceanfront setting. They can even set up a party BBQ in the garden if you ask them to.
