Yes, a visa is required to enter Sri Lanka. You can apply online for a visa via ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization). We are happy to help you with this process or we could even apply on behalf of you, upon confirmation of the tour.

You need to have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity remaining on it after your return date. You will also need to have at least one blank page for each of the countries you are visiting.

It’s mandatory that you obtain a comprehensive travel insurance policy that covers you for medical costs associated with hospitalisation, emergency travel and safe return. You need to cover any country specific requirements also in this insurance cover. For example: Covid-19 Cover.

You need to comply with the Covid-19 Guidelines of the country / state you are travelling from, your travel destination(s) and the airline(s) that you will be travelling on.

It’s advisable to consult your doctor or a vaccination clinic for the most updated advice based on the destination you are travelling to. Sri Lanka was declared Malaria-free by the WHO in 2016, hence your doctor may not want to prescribe anti-malarial medication if you are going to Sri Lanka only. Please do these consultations well in advance of your travel date.
