Wild Glamping Gal Oya

With sustainable tourism as its primary goal, the campground enables guests to unwind amidst nature while taking advantage of luxurious amenities.

The Gal Oya National Park, which is the largest National Park of the island, also which is home to the “Veddahs,” the final remaining members of Sri Lanka’s original population, is adjacent to the historical village of “Rathugala,” where Wild Glamping Gal Oya is located.

The area is bordered by savanna woods and gorgeous mountains. Using best practices in agriculture, this 30 Acres of abandoned deforested chena cultivation along Rambakan Oya has been transformed into an organic farm.

Why do we love Wild Glamping Gal Oya?

We do love Wild Glamping Gal Oya because it is built alongside a tree-shaded river, this eco-friendly camping is surrounded by beautiful jungle covered mountains in one of the wildest countryside to be found in the island far from human activity and pollution. This is the ideal place to have a serene stay.

Since 90% of its staff members are from nearby indigenous Vaddah communities, it gives them the opportunity for social and economic development.

The service provided here is excellent. All staff are polite, welcoming and will go above and beyond to deliver you an exceptional service that’ll exceed your expectations.

What can I look forward to?
