The bungalow is located at 2,000 metres above sea level, 25 minutes’ drive from the hill resort of Nuwara Eliya.

Kandapola is a great destination for outdoor adventures. You can stroll along hedge-lined estate roads flanked by tea bushes, either on your own or with a guide. With gourmet food and Butler service, guests can later unwind on covered verandas, in the comfort of the sitting room with a log fireplace, or beside the infinity pool with views of tea fields.

Goatfell offers 4 rooms in this bungalow. Bedrooms feature plush beds, sitting areas, private patios with estate views, and ensuite bathrooms with bathtubs for warm, relaxing soaks.

The three spacious Concordia Double Bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed, invite you to blissful rest and awakening to breathtaking views of the tea garden. Comfortable twin beds are provided in the Concordia Twin Bedroom, which may be linked to a Concordia Double Bedroom to create a Family Suite.

Bedrooms are furnished with heaters, rugs, blankets, and hot water bottles.

Experiences

The bungalow's own tea estate serves as a good introduction, and you can explore it on your own or with one of their butler guides as you stroll down estate lanes bordered by waist-high tea bushes. Regional attractions include Hakgala Botanical Gardens and the Sita Ella Hindu Kovil.

There's a nice croquet pitch arranged on their lawn for a game or two. You can also visit a Tea Factory nearby, maybe with the guidance of the Goatfell team, and learn the whole process from tea plucking to tea packing.

Gastronomy

Goatfell's restaurant provides you freshly prepared, locally sourced meals in a setting reminiscent of an upcountry tea cottage. Your favourite drinks are mixed by butlers, who also serve exquisite meals in a cosy dining room or on the terrace while offering afternoon tea in the garden.

All meals are included in your stay: a filling breakfast, a "Planter's Lunch" with different daily curries, afternoon tea and an a la carte dinner. Also snacks and beverages, including your favourite tipples, which are best enjoyed next to the cosy fireplace.
