We love Blue Magpie Lodge because the environment around the lodge is exceptional; it is quiet, calm, with chirping birds, running water, and a pleasant breeze that completely relaxes us. The Sinharaja frost’s natural chilly air and the natural stream provide a calming effect for the mind, body, and soul.

One can take a plunge in a natural stream that is surrounded by old trees and rocks and enjoy bird watching, waterfalls, fauna, and flora while visiting the famed Sinharaja forest. One can also go on walks across the area surrounding Sinharaja. There is a special experience to be found.

One can eat in their open restaurant while admiring butterflies fluttering around and birds singing.

What can I look forward to?

Comfort

Each of their rooms includes an attached bathroom, hot and cold water, a fan, and a varanda. Rooms are comfortably simple in their decoration. Blue Magpie Lodge provides bed and breakfast, half board, and full board accommodations in single, double, and triple rooms.

The rooms include decent en-suite, decent A/C and fan, comfortable beds and a terrific veranda for a drink and bird watch.

You will have the opportunity to sample tropical dishes seasoned with Sri Lankan spices.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take a dip in a stream that emerges from natural springs and flows through the forest in front of the lodge.

One can hear birds buzzing and experience a pleasant, natural wind while eating. Their helpful staff will talk about and create food based on your preferences. They offer traditional Sri Lankan fare and seasonal fresh produce.

We offer a wide variety of delectable vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes in buffet style. beverages such as beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, and fresh juices. 40 people can eat at our restaurant.
